Ans:
Under certain circumstances [leveling up(also high happiness), Knowing/learning a certain move, Training in a certain area, holding an item, at certain times(night/daytime), using evolutionary stone etc.] specific to that Pocket-monsters' species, it may evolve into a different Pocket-monster.
For example, Pikachu can be evolved to Raichu from using Thunderstone.
Luvdisc is not the ancestor of Alomomla. They do not be evolved any Pocket-monster under any circumstances. They are the pocket-monsters of the least common type of evolution family ,like Unown and Chatot.
