上次TEST出左呢2條,我唔識答
1.From a social viewpoint,what are the opportunity costs foe Pacific Century Cyber Works(PCCW)to
construct the Cyberport?
(1)the income earned by constructing workers
(2)the revenue that can be received from building a theme park on the same site
(3)the pollution resulting from the construction
(4)the rent received by leasing the offices in the Cyberport.
A.(1)and(3)
B.(1)and(2)
C.(2)and(3)
D.(3)and(4)
答案係C,我知(3)係岩,但我唔明(1)(2)(4)

2.which of the following can be the reason for an increase in the demand for chicken wings?
A.There is an increase in the price of chicken legs
B.People expect a future decrease in the price of chicken wings
C.Household's income increases
D.There is freqent occurance of typhoon
答案係C,但我想知點解A唔岩,thank you ^^

從前呢度只會有人問理科問題, 如今多了人問商科問題^^"

解題：
social viewpoint --> 即係關於社會利益，而非公司盈利(收入、成本)
opportunity costs --> 眾放棄項目之中最大價值的一項
　　　　　　　　　（於這題，比較適合用"full cost"的概念理解，即highest alternative uses of money / time）

PCCW建設數碼港，工人賺取的收入明顯是PCCW的cost，
因為呢筆錢(人工)如果唔比工人，係可以用o係其他地方。
但與公眾利益無關。所以(1)是錯。
而(4)，建設數碼港並不代表放棄了租借辦公室的選項，所以也是錯。
剩下的是(2)和(3)，所以是C。
感覺這題怪怪的，我遲點會再查下。

A.There is an increase in the price of chicken legs
-->雞髀與雞翼應該是代替品(substitutes)，所以雞髀的價格升，引致其需求量下跌，是可進一步引致雞翼的需求量增加
B.People expect a future decrease in the price of chicken wings
-->如果預計雞翼的未來價格下跌，市民會暫時購買較少雞翼，等待之後價格下跌才購入更多，所以現在的需求理應是下跌
C.Household's income increases
-->無從判斷，因為我們不知道雞翼對他們來說是superior goods還是inferior good，
　如果其他三項選擇錯誤，方可選擇這個
D.There is freqent occurance of typhoon
-->這應該與雞翼的供給有關。

如果給我選，我會選A，我建議你去問問你的老師。

Q2
A --> Chicken wings同chicken legs不是直接的substitutes關係, 更緊密的是joint supply關係
當然我不否認兩者可互為替代, 但joint supply的關係卻是肯定的, 所以著眼點應放在後者
一隻正常的雞必然有翼和髀吧, 所以殺了一隻雞會同時得到翼和髀
當price of chicken legs上升, 根據law of demand, quantity demanded會下跌, 既然少左雞髀, 雞翼的supply也會下跌
所以A的結果應該是decrease in supply of chicken wings

C --> superior good同inferior good當然是一個可商榷的point, 但在CE或ALE答題目的時候, 除非特別寫明, 否則一般都當作normal good (即superior good)

D --> decrease in supply是正路想法, 但我可想不到typhoon如何能影響chicken wings的supply @@, 通常受影響的都是crops嘛...... 不過這個不是重點啦, 順便說說而已 ^^"
