1. For me, the test is very difficult. Same as: The test is very difficult (for me) (to pass). For me, this isn't a big problem. Collocation: seem (adj.) to somebody / seem to somebody that (clause) 2. a) Did you say you would submit your work to me? The auxiliary verb "did" only affects the following main verb in the clause, i.e. "say". After the main verb "say", that is another clause, which should follow the rule of reported speech. |
