[Problems are solved] Problems concerning English grammar

I have come across some problems concerning English grammar. Can anyone help me solve the following problems? Thank you very much.

Which of the following sentences is grammatical?
1. a. I study in the same school as you.
    b. I study in the same school as you do.

2. a. The truth is his pop group had broken up not long after he went to live in Los Angeles.
    b. The truth is his pop group broke up not long after he had gone to live in Los Angeles.

3. a. The sea absorbs and releases heat more quickly than the land.
    b. The sea absorbs and releases heat quicker than the land.

1. a. I study in the same school as you.
    b. I study in the same school as you do.
>這個應該是a。b句中加了do好像有點累聚...

2. a. The truth is his pop group had broken up not long after he went to live in Los Angeles.
    b. The truth is his pop group broke up not long after he had gone to live in Los Angeles.
>這個是b。「After」之後的部分表示它先發生，所以「He goes to live in Los Angeles」應該轉為Past Perfect Tense。

3. a. The sea absorbs and releases heat more quickly than the land.
    b. The sea absorbs and releases heat quicker than the land.
>a是對的。在這句中，「Quick」是形容「Absorb」和「Release」，形容動詞的就要用Adverb「More quickly」。

Past Perfect Tense有好多用法ga~
香港咁教其實想讓學生扮下英文pro je~

The answers to Q2&3 are obvious. Your teacher should not have made these mistakes.
For Q1, your teacher may think that "do" is needed due to parallelism, however, it should be left out due to ellipsis.
For Q3, "Land" and "sea" should carry no articles due to generalization. However, the sentence may have another meaning because it is actually wrong in meaning (if "land" and "sea" are in general).
Land absorbs and releases heat more quickly than sea. (This is according to Georgraphy XD)
