[討論]陳易希將於明年進科大，你同意科大的做法嗎？

日前科大宣佈將取錄陳易希，社會引起極大迴響。你同意科大的做法嗎？

正方意見：
1) 陳易希有成就，備受科學界重視，受推薦很正常
2) 香港考試制度不能培育專才，科大今次舉動對將來專才直接入大學起了先例

反方意見：
1) 陳易希的英文水平不足，而有關理論認識也不夠（那些機械人不是他一個做的），太早入大學反而累了他
2) 現時香港中學會考未放榜，如陳易希成績未如理想，可能要承受社會壓力

希望大家討論吧。

In my opinion, if Mr Chan study in University directly after F.5, he may be busier and more stress than the past. He didn't learn the basic knowleage of University that should be learnt in A - level. I think he may suffer from Stress.

However, his scientific talent is good , interested and impressive. Anyway, He want to be a great scientist or engineer. He has much confidence to solve the problems when he study in University.

說實話,幾日前在報紙看到他入科大的消息時，我基本上心灰到就像落入地獄一樣，真的很不爽。

我不能否定他的英文水平可能有不足之處，但我絕對相信他有相當的電子智識。
而且能夠晉身ISEF的人並非等閒之輩，
就算比賽的機械人不是他一個人做，但大部份設計和電子方面皆是他的份。
要數技術，比他有更高技術的，大有人在。

可惜，有技術而無創意，最後又不是去做維修技工......
創意，發明家和科學家應有的成份，而陳易希就正正擁有著。

There's nothing need to be worried in fact. If he's that talented and determined to be a scientist, no matter how many setbacks will he meet in the university, I am still confident that he will overcome everyone of them.

我覺得skip幾年中學雖然可節省好多中學時間，但可能因為少讀幾年將根基打得唔穩，將來有D basic野在中學時學都唔息，反而濾左事......
