快多少?點打拍子?

先要知道, 拍子快慢完全和拍子記號無關 (有速度記號, e.g. andante, presto, vivace, allegro)

(12 8) 是一個複四拍子(|||  |||  |||  |||)
(4 4)則是單四拍子 (| | | |)
(除了3以外, 上面係3的倍數, 大多是複拍子)

4/4
Each bar contains 4 full quarter notes

if the tempo is the same
the bar in 4/4 is faster than the bar in 12/8
