呢題係ue section C中mc cloze既其中1個問題

C.strength
D.ability

A同D 一睇就知錯..但係B同C就唔係太揀到..
最後我揀左B..但係係錯既=.=..應該係C strength
但係我唔明點解??係唔係因為collocation既問題呢?thx!

strength 一般指 "氣力", 同 physical efforts 有關 (雖然咁講有 d 怪)
而 power 一般指 "權力", "能力" 或者係 physical quantity "功率"
你可能係諗 power = 力量, => enormous power 就= 好大力 (?)
咁 elephant 或者係 living things 都通常 collocate "strength" ge...
相反, 車呀 冷氣機個 d 就通常 "power"

pokemon 呢 ... 秘傳04 strength 係翻譯左做 "怪力" or "勁力" ge ... 睇下呢個解釋幫唔幫到你 ?
