1. Which of the following is/are true?
i.) 3%x15%=0.45%
ii.) 25%+35%=60%
iii.)40% is divided by 7=17.5%

A. i. only
B. i. and ii. only
C. i. and iii. only
D. all of them

2.When a number y si decreased by 75% to become 140. Find the value of y.
A. 560
B. 80
C. 105
D. 35

that means i must be correct??

1. i) 3% x 15% = 3/100 x 15/100 = 45/10000 = 0.45
ii) 25% + 35% = 25/100 + 35/100 = 60/100 = 60%
iii) 40%/7 = 40/700 = 4/70 = 5.71%

So, the answer is B.

2. y(1-75%) = 140
   y(25%) = 140
            y= 140 x 100 /25
            y= 140 x 4
            y= 560

The answer is A.
