-From the start button, go to "Settings" and then click on "Control Panel". -Open the "Multimedia" control panel. -Click on the Audio tab. -Click the "Advanced Properties" button to open the "Advanced Audio Properties" dialog. -Click the "Performance" tab. -Drag the "Hardware Acceleration" slider all the way to the left ("None"). -Click okay in both dialogs.
