i think Longman 的 dictionary is good

如果我選的話，一定選牛津。
因為所有英文未都是由牛津大學創造出來的2現在每年都有新增英文宇，所以牛津字典是最正宗的！

Get a good English dictionary without chinese translation is the best. It is because the meaning might vary when the word is translated into Chinese. So you should first look up into a dictionary without chinese translation before a bilingual one. I prefer 'Longman Dictionary of contemporary English'.

but y don't u perfer Oxford Advance Learner's Dictionary????

Recently, I have bought a copy of the Oxford Advance Learner's Dictionary. It's great too. Both Oxford Advance Learner's Dictionary and 'Longman Dictionary of contemporary English' contain more than 80000 words! But Oxford Advance Learner's Dictionary's definition is slightly detailed than 'Longman Dictionary of contemporary English'. The only reason why I prefer 'Longman Dictionary of contemporary English' is that I have used it for a long time. Since I bought a new dictionary, I put my 'Longman Dictionary of contemporary English' into my locker at school. So I can look up words that I do not know at school too!

if you want online dictionary
i think yahoo dictionary is not bad
if you want to know how to speak out the words
i think Merriam-Webster is very good

yahoo dictionary is not good~
some of the meaning can't find it other dictionary(that mean the meaning is wrong )

my school want us to buy this book when form 3~~so i have this dictionary~!
its very big and heavy~i almost never bring it to school~~
